2009.
Tell us about your cricket journey. Where did you start junior cricket, and the clubs you’ve played for in senior cricket?
Belmont boy through and through. I have always been here and don’t plan on leaving.
If you can share with our readers how you would describe yourself as a cricketer?
An all-rounder who loves to bat time and tries to give the ball a rip.
What do you enjoy most about playing cricket?
The banter and mateship.
What’s been your most memorable moment in cricket so far?
Making my grade debut two years ago, playing with my dad.
Who’s your favourite all-time cricketer?
Justin Langer.
Who is the fastest bowler you’ve played against?
Haven’t played against him, but Riley Urquhart bowls gas.
Who is the best spinner you’ve played against?
Dave Keast. He usually gets me out at training after I hit him to all parts of the ground.
Who played the best innings you’ve seen firsthand playing with or against?
Clayton Poole 166 against Wallsend with 14 4s and 10 6s
Who is the best wicket keeper you’ve had the good fortune to play with?
Jack Donavon Shultz.
Is there a young player in your club you’d like to nominate as a player to watch? Mace Carter, a good young wicket keeper who gives the ball a whack.
Who are the two players you’ve come to admire most in your club in terms of skills and competitive spirit?
Tony Bristow and Riley Urquhart.

I’m fortunate to have some great players supporting me, such as my dad (Dave Keast), Dave Wrixon and Tony Bristow.
