Todays epidemic in poor batting at First Class level is a result of decisions made 20 years ago. An old article but a brilliant one from my old academy team mate Brett Geeves. I understand many people of this platform loved GC, played with and against him but for all his brilliance as a player he was equally flawed as a coach and administrator.
