In 1961, BRUCE McCLENAGHAN (#74) held 3 catches in an innings as Geoff Marshall (#156) and Don Foster (#155) bowled unchanged to defend a low Waratahs innings.
Waratahs v ATC - B grade, 25th November 1961
In 1967, BRUCE KELLAWAY (#213) and GRAHAM JOHNSON (#207) added 140 for the 4th wicket after PETER RIGG (#201) had torn through Uralla to take 7-31, his best bowling figures for Waratahs. A grade declared with a good lead and then on the second day, the bowlers shared the wickets leaving the tail to wipe off the few runs for the outright victory.

In 1972, ALLAN THOMPSON (#238) made 131 not out of A-Res grade's 8-188, as they declared with a lead of 106 and then rolled Easts again on the second day for the outright. It was a somewhat overstrength side, with Tom Cooke (#197) playing on the first week. It was Thompson's sole hundred for Waratahs.

Easts 82 (Tom Cooke 6-35) and 85 (Garry Holloway 5-24) lost to Waratahs 8(dec) 188 (Allan Thomspon 131x)
In 1973, A grade lost the One Day Final in a low scoring match against Easts. Graeme Walker (#61) was the only batsman to impress, coming in at 5-33. Waratahs had the game in their keeping, with Easts in disaster mode at 5-6, with John Donnelly taking four of the wickets. As would become their habit over the next 15 years, youngsters Neil Baillie and Rick Porter then added 68 to take Easts to with six of victory, before Merv Philp (#268) took three quick wickets and bought the match alive again.

In 1989, STU MACFARLAN (#606) dominated Uralla with a century that began on the first day and ended on the second with a declaration. Andrew Woods was the pick of the bowlers earlier, whipping out four of the first five batsmen. 1st couldn't repeat the dose on the second day as Uralla batted out the afternoon. Peter McClenaghan (#605) caused the most distrress with his leggies.

MARK DYMOCK (#523) and TOM CAMPBELL (#414) added 127 for the 1st wicket as 2nd grade cruised to a win against TAS.
