In 1960, A-Res grade were out for less than a hundred against Hillgrove but then rolled Hillgrove for less, with TONY MORRISS (#78) taking 8-52, his best bowling figures for Waratahs. GRAEME HOOPER (#101) held 3 catches in Hillgrove's innings. It was a similar story on the second day and even though Hillgrove were the only side to crack three figures for the match, Waratahs won a cliff hanger by 3 runs and MOrriss took ten for the match.

In B grade, JOHN McINTYRE (#99) had a big day out in a one day game for B grade against Public Service. After top scoring batting at first drop in Waratahs innings, he then took 6-29 with the new ball, including a hat trick.

In 1961, RAY ROSE (#58) mad his only century for Waratahs, opening the batting and score 101 in the Sunday Comp v Easts. Don Foster (#155) ahd taken a pfeiffer early in all day game. Bruce McClenaghan and Mick Halpin filled in for Easts!

In 1966, GRAHAM JOHNSON (#207) made his first Waratahs hundred, 110 of 223 v University, in which Alan Gray was the only other batsman to make double figures. Their partnership of 156 for the second wicket, was in marked contrast to the rest of the batting. Waratahs dominated the second day, with Tom Cooke (#197) taking 6-63.

In 1983, ANGUS MARTYN (#416) made his highest score for Waratahs, an unlucky 97 for 3rd grade v Ex Services.
In 1988, GRAHAM FROST (#333) lost his stumps to Daniel Horsley on 98 as 1st grade won easily against TAS and then held 3 catches in TAS second innings. Earlier, Andrew McNeill (#419) and Joe Harrison (#405) cleaned up the students on the first day.
WARATAHS v TAS - 1st grade, 19th & 26th November 1988
MARTIN HADFIELD (#545) emulated Frosty's catching in 2nd grade, also against TAS.
In 1994, TIM QUINLAN (#659) smashed 108 not out against Churches, in a partnership with James Hillard (#592) which resurected Waratahs in a one day game from 6-53. Future clubman Callum Sunners (#614) then carried his bat for Churches, making 84 not out of 115 in an innings where only one other made double figures and six batmen made ducks! Wicketkeeper SCOTT MURPHY (#725) held 3 catches and made a stumping.
