Tim Seeto Cap Presentation
Burnside West Christchurch University Cricket Club | November 26, 2025

Saturday’s fixture against Lancaster Park marks a special moment for Tim Seeto, who reaches his 15th 2-Day game and officially earns his baggy cap.
Since joining us from Christ’s College at the beginning of 2023, Tim has made a massive impact both on and off the field. In just 15 matches, he has been behind the stumps for some of our greatest moments in whites and is already a three-time 2-Day Championship winner – an incredible achievement in such a short span.
2022/2023 Season Highlights A memorable season for Tim, which included a club batting record and a major Premier grade fielding award:
- Highest Individual Score in an Innings (Russ McLean Trophy): Awarded for his high score of 126 runs for the Premiership team.
- Premier Fielding Award (Gerard Cross Cup for Premier Fielding): He was named the Premier side’s Best Fielder.
- Representative Honours: Tim was also recognised for achieving Canterbury U19 honours and being named the New Zealand Youth Player of the Year (NZ YOUTH POTY).
2023/2024 Season Highlights include reward for Tim’s efforts behind the stumps and in the field seeing him take home the Premier Fielding award for the second year running:
- Premier Fielding Award (Gerard Cross Cup for Premier Fielding) recognised for his exceptional work, recording 28 catches and 13 stumpings
Tim brings relentless energy, commitment, and genuine buy-in to the values and direction of our group. A dependable middle-order batsman who adjusts seamlessly to the game situation, and a highly skilled gloveman who sets the standard in the field, Tim embodies exactly what we want in a Burnside West cricketer.
